There are many ways you can help change the lives of children and others in need by getting involved with 21st Century Santa.
Besides several ways to contribute financially, there is always a need for toys, clothing and other gift items. And there is always a need for people – volunteers, sponsors, board members.
As Candy Cane Village becomes a reality, there will be need for props, display items, set designs, and for volunteers and staff.
Each year, the number of children we serve increases. We support these children all year long, whether at Christmas, after a disaster, or meeting a child’s special, individual needs. 21st Century Santa greatly appreciates every donation we receive no matter how large or small.
For your convenience, please consider making a small donation, such as $5.00 to $25.00 automatically each month on a date you choose. This will have a huge impact on serving our children. Making your donation on a regular, monthly basis is very secure and greatly assists us in planning and budgeting our programs so we can maximize the number of children we can serve each month.
All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by current tax laws and your tax status.
Consider making a monetary endowment contributed to one of our particular programs or missions that is particularly meaningful to you. It will impact the lives of Oklahoma children over a long period of time. If you think this is something you would like to consider or have additional questions, please contact us.
We don’t mind shopping. Often we have lists from families of items their children need. So monetary donations allow us to shop for those specific items. This is especially true of clothing and toiletries.
Even so, we still accept donations of new items for children. We are always in need of toys, stuffed animals, games (especially board games), balls for all kinds of sports, STEM projects and more.
If you would like to make this type of donation, please contact us first so we can discuss specific, current needs.
The presence of a kind and caring person can be the greatest gift to a child with a need. We invite you to help us accomplish our mission by sharing your love and time to serve the very deserving children of Oklahoma at Christmas and throughout the year.
We need people who can volunteer a little time, or a lot of time.
You could volunteer your birthday. Maybe you don’t have a lot of time to offer, but you would like to see the face of a child light up with the joy of a Christmas experience. One day a year, once a month, weekly, whatever you are able to do, can make the difference for a child in need.
We will need volunteer staff as Candy Cane Village continues to grow.
We also need additional board members. If you grasp the vision of 21st Century Santa for sharing the message and joy of Christmas and meeting the needs of others by demonstrating the love of the One who is the true gift and meaning of Christmas, consider applying to join our board of directors. We need people who can help us plan, promote, and carry out the mission and vision of the organization.
Perhaps you could be a volunteer advocate. Do you want to help special needs children? Do you have a special needs child? Or do you have knowledge of specific needs or challenges faced by children with disabilities or special needs? We would like your input and insight as we plan and build and grow our facilities and services at Candy Cane Village.
Please contact us to learn more about how you can volunteer.
Do you or a member of your family have an item or collection that is very special to you or them?
Perhaps you have a collection and are concerned that it won’t be appreciated, or maybe you will inherit items or a collection that you don’t have room for. For example, a collection of figurines or ceramics collected or even made by your family member.
We at 21st Century Santa, Inc, would like you to consider making a legacy gift. You can donate or loan an item or items to us in your family member’s name. Your item or collection will be displayed in a very special way to honor the person that the gift is made for in an appropriate manner.
As Candy Cane Village grows, these types of items will add to the magic, joy, and meaning of the village to make it a special place for children to visit.
We are looking for toys from throughout the years to be displayed in Candy Cane Village and enjoyed by all that visit.
Children of all ages will be able to reminisce about the Christmases in their childhood and share their stories with their children and grandchildren. We welcome all toys, particularly trains, cars, trucks, dolls, doll houses, teddy bears, other stuffed animals or characters, etc.
